ISIS THORNTON-SAUNDERS 

Isis Thornton-Saunders holds a Dual Bachelor's of Science in Marketing and Sociology from Kansas State University, complemented by a Minor in Nonprofit Leadership Studies and a Certification in Data Analytics.

Upon graduating from Kansas State University in 2020, Isis moved to Salem, Oregon where she served as the Director of Annual Giving at the Boys & Girls Club of Salem, Marion, and Polk Counties. In this role, she created and executed the organizational social media plan, led the annual giving strategic plan, and managed donor communications and stewardship. She successfully cultivated corporate and individual giving programs, planned and executed online campaigns, and assisted in grant writing opportunities. Notably, her efforts on the 2021 Giving Tuesday campaign resulted in raising $29,117 in 24 hours, exceeding the goal by 94%.

Following her time at the Boys & Girls Club, Isis became the Community Relations Coordinator at Travel Salem where she established relationships with government leaders, lobbied for commercial air services at Salem Airport, managed event logistics, and developed key organizational documents such as the business plan and crisis communication plan.

Isis then joined Tonkon Torp as a Government Affairs Coordinator where she tracked legislative policies, developed communication materials, and assisted clients with legislative visits and strategy implementation. She was instrumental in coordinating meetings, developing testimony, and ensuring clients' interests were effectively represented.

Prior to joining United Strategies & Consulting, Isis founded ITS Consulting LLC where she successfully managed contracts with notable clients such as Bravio Communications, Restraining Orders Without Borders (ROWB), and Elect Dave Henslee. Her expertise includes lobbying for key legislation, tracking legislative policies, and developing strategic communication materials.
